  56. ‚Ä¢ AI uses a 14" X 14" print area. To change the page breaks (dotted lines), use the Page tool to adjust the page breaks.
  57. ‚Ä¢ You can also use Page Setup in the File menu to set horizontal pages, or different sized paper, or enlargements/reductions.
  58. ‚Ä¢ If your illustration prints out blank pages, some part of the document may be too close to a margin*... just select a page range (usually 5 to 5) in the Print dialog box.
  59. ‚Ä¢ To skip the print dialog box, type option-command-P. AI starts printing immediately.
  60. ‚Ä¢ Remember, the more complex the document, the longer it will take to print.

  64. Even though no part of your illustration may overlap the page breaks, if any direction line for a curve extends over the page break, AI considers this to be on the other page, and will print out a blank page. Also, type that sits too close to a margin can also result in blank pages.
